Lounge on the shaded veranda, perch at the bar or cool off in the magnificent rim-flow pool after a sensational game drive. Set on a ridge with unobstructed views across the reserve to the Lebombo mountains, the eight rooms in Homestead are en-suite and fitted with spacious sunken baths and open showers. Meals are served in our indoor dining room or for a truly authentic experience in the boma under the stars. Two game drives a day, a cook and housekeepers are included in your stay.
ACCOMMODATION
The original Bayete Zulu Homestead, a magnificent stone ranch house, has eight open-plan en-suite rooms fitted with spacious sunken baths and open showers. Each room is elegantly decorated and can be made up with one king or two single beds (additional single bed or cot available for children sharing with parents). Air-conditioners and ceiling fans are standard.
FACILITIES
Bayete Zulu Homestead functions as a self-catering lodge. A spacious well equipped kitchen is at your disposal with a cook to assist with the preparation of meals, or to do it for you. There is a lounge with satellite TV, a dining room with a 16 seater dining table. The bar overlooking the rim-flow pool has all the essentials you may need as well as ample bar fridges. Meals can be enjoyed in the indoor or outdoor dining room or in the Boma. A gathering pit at the Boma provides the perfect spot to braai or toast your marshmallows after dinner. A fully equipped kitchen with refrigeration for food is situated in the Homestead. A manager, cook, housekeepers and a ranger will ensure your needs are met.

BEST SELF CATERING LODGE IN KZN!
…Our group of 13 stayed at the lodge. It is self-catering so you will need to provide your own
food & drink but the staff on site and in the kitchen were amazing! We stayed for 2 nights & each meal was absolutely delicious. After breakfast, you can lounge by the pool & watch the wildlife on the hill in front … we saw a lioness stalking impala while enjoy a cocktail by the pool!
